After obtaining his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Khaled fulfilled his foundation year competencies in Exeter. His early exposure and involvement in clinical and investigative research drove him to join Addenbrooke’s Trauma & Orthopaedics department as a research fellow, during which, he successfully completed a postgraduate diploma in clinical education. Thereafter, he pursued a master’s degree in Orthopaedic surgery from University College London where he was awarded a distinction for his thesis investigating the clinical and cost effectiveness of negative pressure dressing in primary and revision total knee arthroplasty. Khaled then joined East Midlands for his core surgical training. During his free time, he enjoys playing football, table tennis, and being an amateur cook
