Mr Zaid Yasen

Zaid is an orthopaedic registrar on London’s Percivall Pott Rotation. He completed his MSc in Surgical Innovation at Imperial College London, where his work focused on developing a convolutional neural network to enhance the detection of adult hip dysplasia. He has presented nationally on topics including deep learning and robotic arthroplasty. His current work focuses on developing AI-driven educational platforms that utilise retrieval-augmented generation methods to personalise surgical learning. He holds an Honorary Senior Clinical Lectureship at University College London.
