Mr. Eirion Slade

MRCS BM BCh (Oxon) MPhys (Oxon)

Eirion Slade is an orthopaedic registrar currently training on the Percival Pott Rotation. He qualified from Oxford University in 2017, where he studied Graduate Entry Medicine, having previously completed a master’s degree in physics at Oxford University, specialising in quantum information processing.
He subsequently completed his early training in London, working in trauma and orthopaedic surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, Barnet Hospital, and Queens Hospital, as well as working in the plastic surgery unit at the Royal Free Hospital and the vascular surgery unit at the Royal London Hospital.
He has a special interest in medical education, having worked as a college tutor at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, and as an anatomy demonstrator at Barts and the London School of Medicine. He also co-founded the National Surgical Audit Forum.
Outside of surgery, he enjoys playing the piano, surfing and skiing.
