Mr. David Ferguson

BSc MB ChB MRCS MFSEM MSc

David is an orthopaedic registrar on the Percivall Pott rotation with clinical interests in major trauma, paediatrics and sports.

He completed a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science at Loughborough University before studying graduate entry medicine at the University of Leicester. Prior to entering core surgical training he spent time at Tygerberg Academic Hospital in Cape Town to gain a greater understanding of major trauma management. He undertook an MSc at the University of Oxford in Musculoskeletal Sciences during core surgical training.

Away from clinical work David enjoys running, cycling and karting. He is currently out of programme for 6 months as he attempts to cycle as far around the world as possible, raising money for Barts Charity.
