Apoorva is a dedicated trainee with a passion for both clinical excellence and education. She ranked first in the U.K. Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery National Selection and was awarded the prestigious Margaret Witt Scholarship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as the BOA Travelling Fellowship Award for the Federation of Orthopaedic and Trauma Traniees in Europe’s Summer School 2024. As the past elected Publicity Officer for the British Orthopaedic Trainee Association (BOTA), Apoorva managed social media accounts and engaged effectively with over 10,000+ followers on X, amplifying BOTA's reach. She has published, presented internationally, serves as a reviewer for The Bone & Joint Journal and was awarded a Masters in Medical Education with distinction in 2023. Apoorva co-founded the London Women of Orthopaedics (LWO) group for aspiring Orthopaedic surgeons in London. Beyond Orthopaedics, Apoorva is an avid painter and digital artist, balancing her passion for surgery with creative expression. Her Orthopaedic interest is in robotic and sports surgery. Her dedication to mentorship, education, and diversity has been widely recognised amongst colleagues.
